This is completely awful, how is this possible? One of the women leading this sham/ cult awfulness lives in New Brunswick.

Warning - there are birth stories in this article which are detailed and very upsetting, please take care. 😥

A terrifying event for the children, teachers and community.

The r/Halifax thread on “need a poor quality yet expensive restaurant to recommend to an enemy” is excellent.

The details of Kash Patel’s trip to the UK deep in this article are hilarious.

Absolute muppetry.

I would love to do a class on Bruce Springsteen’s America (the article author teaches one at Princeton).

His songs helped rear me in 1980s midlands Ireland too. Another fine motherlode of toxic, repressed masculinity.
The culture of working-class masculinity that surrounded these jobs could exact a price, too:
“a deep attraction to silence, secrets and secretiveness,”
"the hard blues of constant disaffection”
“that the dark thing in you is barely restrained.”

Tucked away in the Canada 2025 budget is a teeny tiny commitment to explore entering the #Eurovision song contest.

Of course we already won it once with the Queen of Quebec chanseur.
