I have decided I need Vito Coppola from #Strictly to do one of the Stand Up To Cancer #GBBO shows. I know some of you guys are in TV - make it happen.

Why do the Strictly producers insist on these utterly ridiculous novelty challenges?

How much longer can I keep doing this? Read more on my latest Substack post: idoruknits.substack.com/p/getting-ol...
Getting older: how will I continue to do this?
I live an active life, regularly travelling all over the UK. I should be able to continue to do this into my older years but society isn’t set up to allow that. This needs to change

I support the Green Party because I believe in what they're doing. If your best argument against voting for them is 'But, Reform!' then stop telling me to compromise my principles and tell Labour to get some.

@stellacreasy.bsky.social Please will you sign this motion
If you agree that mandatory digital ID cards are a terrible idea, please ask your MP to sign my motion opposing them.

These plans risk turning us into checkpoint Britain. They must be scrapped.

I pretty much only watch the results show for the group dance. But that was, well, interesting?

That headline doesn’t really need “and Labour”. This iteration of Labour is more than adequately covered by “the right”.

The truth: we need migration.

The problem: too many politicians are terrified to say it.

Why? They're led by a) toxicity of the charlatans & b) wealthy media organisations who demand these useful distractions rather than us talking about inequality.

Reject it. Draw the line.

I can only assume the Strictly producers are still concerned about Amy's health and didn't want her dancing for long this series.

'He got away with it, so she should too,' isn't a good argument.

In the time between posting this to Substack and now, I've found yet another mistake in my crochet stole and had to undo it again. Read why I'm starting to think this project is cursed: idoruknits.substack.com/p/on-the-nee...
On the needles: is this stole cursed?
In yet another update for my lacy crochet stole I wonder if maybe there’s a darker reason for why things keep going wrong
