Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time contains an unused enemy called the Scoot Bloop, a Blooper whimsically wearing shoes. It has two attacks: a regular one and a "do nothing forever" attack where it just freezes in place and refuses to end its turn, trapping the player indefinitely.

You know what I'd like to see make a return? Pre-rendered backgrounds. I just think it's so weird that in the indie game space I can't think of a single example of this, despite "ps1 aesthetics" being a mainstay.
