Together with the removal of games happening on Steam and itch, this marks that we have reached a crisis point in regards to the power that platforms have over our games and the culture that is permitted or not within their walled gardens. We need to create collective solutions outside their walls.
It’s gone. Three years of work by a talented, delightful team. Fittingly, Wheels of Aurelia was also a story about fighting for the very rights that are now being eroded.

Come and join the engender conference this year! It’s needed more than ever …
This year's En-Gender Conference will take place 21-23 August. Here is the Call for Papers.

Please share as widely as you can!

Further, we are still looking for keynote speakers and since it is the 5 year celebration, we want to invite our hero(in)es!

Any suggestions?

The best thing about being an academic with a network?
I know whom to write an email to when I am in need for good literature on TERFism and Right Wing Politics.

Also - any suggestions here on this app?

Please consider doing this survey. We'd love to hear from people all over the world. Queer or not queer, you'd have thoughts on seeing queer representation.

(posting on behalf of) Alana Blakers who is doing a PhD on queer museums as part of my ARC project titled Saving Lives: Mapping the influence of Indigenous LGBTIQ+ creative artists. Any and all participation is appreciated

We are currently running a survey that focuses on queer Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander gaming practices. Particularly, asking about character creation, representation, playing and watching practices.
