THOUGHT OF THE DAY: If Britain had its own “Weird” Al (maybe someone named “Peculiar” Rupert) we’d have a parody of the The Cure’s “Fascination Street” called “Coronation Street” by now

PREDATOR: BADLANDS (2025)

PREDATOR: BADLANDS rules. It’s as if Dark Horse hired Walt Simonson and Art Adams to make the ultimate Predator story. Tons of creatures. All kinda of stabby explodey goodness. PREY deserved to get a theatrical release but didn’t. This makes up for it.

I cannot emphasize enough, as a rapidly aging millennial, how unthinkable it would have been in 2004 for a Muslim immigrant to be elected Mayor of NYC on the day Dick Cheney's heart finally threw in the towel. We had NO alternatives in 2004, and in many ways, it was a scarier time than even now.

Nobody likes you and you're better off dead
Goodbye
We've all come to say goodbye
Goodbye
Born defeated, died in vain
Super-destructive, you were hooked on pain
And though your music lingers on
All of us are glad you're gone

It's crucially important to remember that you're an adult with free will, and you can make fresh popcorn with red chile powder, nutritional yeast, lemon juice and salt and eat it with chopsticks at your desk to avoid making a mess. No one can ever take that away from you

Fireworks are illegal in Burbank. After living in the middle of L.A. for 16 years, it’s surreal — almost eerie — to witness a Dodgers WS victory under a silent sky.

I remember Joe Quesada and Bill Jemas calling DC "AOL Comics". The main character of MARVILLE was Kal-AOL. He's still out there, somewhere, in the mighty Marvel multiverse
do you guys remember that time America Online bought Time Warner

Strong union contracts raise a company's labor costs relative to non-union competitors. The proper response to this is not "the union is bad," but rather "unionize the competitors."
