Governments and voters are both reacting to algorithm-shaped “public opinion,” not grounded priorities. Immigration feels urgent because platforms amplify fear, pulling parties into hollow performances of toughness. The far right reads that drift as confirmation it’s winning.

Imagine the news conference where Trump stands behind a lectern and declares "I did not have sexual relations with that president".
The gift that keeps on giving.

Epstein’s brother Mark asking Steve Bannon if Putin has “the photo of Trump blowing Bubba” - or Bill Clinton to the rest of us.

Glad that someone has finally taken responsibility for the appalling assault on democracy that was the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Slightly confused that it's the Director-General of the BBC, but what do I know?

Listen to Blaze Foley. It will do you good.

Bob Dylan said Blaze was his favorite songwriter. Townes Van Zandt said Blaze was one of the most spiritual people he ever met. John Prine covered his work. Merle Haggard tracked down every recording he could get. The public has mostly forgotten.

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

The world needs a good heist now and then, been ages since Hatton Garden. Hope the culprits are a plucky bunch of French pensioners upset about the price of cognac or something.
Spectacular robbery of the French crown jewels at the Louvre today: three masked men climbed a ladder, broke a window, lifted nine priceless pieces from the Apollo gallery, got away on motorbikes. No one hurt.
Reportedly the most famous piece in the room, the 140 carat Regent diamond, was not taken.

As depressing as this is, we're four years out from a general election and that's plenty of time for ReformUK to shit the bed in a myriad if ways.

It should be, but you’re working very hard to ensure it isn’t.

Might just be the rare occasion where I wouldn't mind seeing Farage on the news answering some questions.
Kind of feels like a big deal that a Reform/Brexit Party former MEP has been convicted of taking bribes to promote Russian interests in Ukraine, and it feels like a bigger deal that this isn’t being treated as the major scandal that it clearly is.
