People love the work of the Stranglers but few are aware of their efforts to reunite people with their lost pensions…(currently worth in excess of £31bn).

“It rainin, duck gone” was my youngest daughter’s first ever sentence.
‘Duck gone’ became our family shorthand for describing days like this.

If we're talking about bias, why do BBC politics programmes, from Politics Live to the Laura Kuennsberg Show, still always begin with a look at the newspaper front pages, which are overwhelmingly biased in one direction. Helps frame the entire news agenda and debate in their favour

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

“America needs to get back to the 2 and 4. At the moment it’s clapping on the 1 and 3.”

Exceptional political analysis from US sax great Greg Abate who, thanks to @jocaulfield.bsky.social, I had the pleasure of performing with in Bakewell last night.

This guy, Mr Basu. He made such a difference to my family’s life as well Debbie’s. Not only an exceptional brain surgeon but he makes greeting cards too (but not at the same time): www.nottinghamhospitalscharity.org.uk/news/debbies...

Not sure the staff and students of the Uni Of Nottingham’s Music Department will find these banners, prominently displayed next to their beloved facility, particularly ‘exciting’. The uni has just announced that undergraduate music courses are being suspended. Link to petition in comments.
