1. I know there's been a blanket ban on Amazon for a while now and while I do support it, I think there have been some unintended consequences. February was a terrible month for queer indie authors, many of whom rely on Amazon for their income. Some may fear they might have to stop writing entirely.

I moved to New England 9 months ago to find a safer place and after seeing the way that everyone here has rallied against the administration, I’ve never felt better about that decision

I feel like being trans in America right now kind of feels like a cancer diagnosis. I'm certainly responding to it like it. I fight, I live each day like it's my last, I reflect on my life, and I'm trying to do and see and experience as many things as I can while I can.

I'm grateful everyday for my stepmom being a shining example of the kind of woman I strive to be. A loud, outspoken butch who could fix basically anything, who once took a valve stem removal tool to a drunk asshole's tires because he called my mom and her dykes but a softie to those she loved.

It’s been 4 years today since I realized I was trans. I’ve achieved a level of peace and self love and acceptance, a baseline happiness I never imagined was possible. If I knew then all the shit I would go through to become the person I am, would I do it again? Absolutely. Without a second thought.

I know I've truly gotten into my cottagecore lesbian in the woods phase because I just heard an owl hoot outside and I got ridiculously excited and grabbed my camera to try and get a picture of it.

I've seen this drama on Tik Tok and I wanted to comment. Non transitioning trans people have more privilege than transitioning trans people have. It's already impacting us more. It's not transmedicalism, it's fact. Just like I, a trans woman in a blue area have more privilege than one in the south.

I never thought I'd find the best lip balm I've tried in my life at Ace Hardware but here we are. It's the Naked Bee orange blossom honey. Smells and works fantastic.

I think if you live in NYC or the Bay Area it was easier to both ignore what was happening to trans people in red states and (since you're surrounded by progressive people and politics) believe a story about activism run amok. Now Trump has forced those policies onto families and schools they know.

About a month before the election, I talked to a woman in a private FB group who was voting for Trump but professed to love trans people. She didn't think he'd do anything. I think about her now and wonder if she regrets it.
