I lost my job in games in 2023. Since then, I've seen countless studio closures and mass layoffs.
As someone whose only experience in games is preceded with the word "junior", its disheartening to see people with 5x my experience losing their jobs and joining the job search along side me.

I was just at target, and the woman in front of me had a daughter maybe of 4 or 5 years old. There was a display stand of krispy kreme donuts by the registers and the little girl pointed at them and said "look! it's those things the police have!"

Why do 3D Printing Enthusiasts always use modelling software I've never touched before as a 3D Artist? Is it because artist software isn't approachable enough, or are other packages like Fusion 360 actually better for the task of 3d printing?
