I vividly remember walking through the TV room when I was 7 while my brother was watching Pearl Jam's Unplugged on MTV, and saw Vedder write PRO CHOICE on his arm.
I said "what does that mean?" and my brother explained, and honest to god it was a wholly radicalizing, seminal moment for young me.
