This is why im so vocal for and defense of the Hellaverse community, yes we have faults and downsides but overall we are an accepting and loving community! Ive never been part of a fandom as oc friendly ane encouraging as hellaverse and also optimistic! It is the best fandom ever! Fight me!!
I hate that as a Hellaverse fan it’s impossible to be a fan of other things without people giving you flack. “You can’t join our fandom because you like this thing” is kinda crazy and something I haven’t really come across in my years of fandom, which dates back to mid 2000’s???

When you put it that way it’s similar back to my observation about certain people unwilling to empathize with the characters diegetically, only treating them in the context of writing fiction. Name sucks? Just change it. Relationship lacks context to people who weren’t *there?* Can’t get invested.
