Anti-fascists on Chicago’s south side chanting "death to the Nazis" in 1978. This demonstration was part of the turmoil of the late 1970s when the Nazis attempted to rise to power in the Chicago area but were ultimately smashed by a coalition of anti-fascists.

While feds are cutting support for housing, so is DC.
There is no city funding for 2026 for permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. Shelters are at 95% capacity. Other voucher programs are shrinking, pushing people back into homelessness, including families.

I know this weird little Nazi is probably mostly lying about being afraid of getting arrested if she comes back to Germany, but still, as an American who sometimes worries a little about returning to America, I love this for her.
