Europe alone has no capability to defend Greenland and the arctic against Russia and China.The US is already there doing that work for them, but doesn’t want to do the heavy investing necessary without ownership this time around.
Obviously Denmark is part of a broader military coalition pledged to defend them in case of attack. I would have thought a guy who sold his house to go live on a military base because he was scared of his neighbors would get this.

A confusing comparison. Taiwan is supposed to be weak Denmark? The US mighty China? So a remote autonomous territory is counted as identical to Denmark? What about Bjork supporting independence? Taiwan is a sovereign country, Greenland is not.
This guy is basically inviting China to take Taiwan.

I tend toward Islam in those moments. United in the ummah, serving god together. No more race or tribe, just the creator and us.

Could’ve started building “European” sovereignty decades ago. They barely speak any languages besides their local tongue and English. So there is no proper regional integration beyond borders except out of shared vulnerability and morality relying on outside sources

True, but. People need to understand the Low Countries are incredibly dense. It looks medieval or village-like often but make no mistake. This is the densest advanced country of decent size out there. There is little crime because there is a millennia-old cohesive and conformist culture.
Agreed in some senses, but I'm taking these between 0700-0800 usually.
