I heard this on Radio 6 this morning and it’s very good.

We progressively installed solar, battery, moved to an EV and Octopus Intelligent tariff with an ASHP in March. Yesterday I monitored battery use, 9 degree outside temperature, heating on@ 19 degrees. At 4pm the battery was at 81%, even on a rainy day solar generated 1.6 kW’s. Quite something

First cold morning after a long summer of underfloor insulation, 5 degrees outside with a frost, 17.9 inside and no heating on yet. 😀hopefully a more comfortable winter this year🤞
