I want to exist without fear. I want my visibility to lead to others’ safety. I want to be able to visit a national park, or the capital, or anywhere else, and be able to walk into a bathroom without fear of being assaulted by someone who thinks they know my body better than I do. I can’t right now.

I'm safe enough to be "visible" but for a lot of people more visibility means more risk of harm. Don't just see us. Don't just watch. Don't be voyeurs of transness. Do whatever you can to make it safer for trans folks (esp. Black trans women and non-Black trans WoC) to be seen, heard & valued. #TDOV
