Uncovering Hidden Biases Toward Disabled Groups
In an era defined by increasing awareness and advocacy for disability rights, the persistence of unconscious stereotypes continues to shape societal attitudes in ways that are often overlooked yet profoundly impactful. A groundbreaking study published in the latest issue of BMC Psychology uncovers the subtle, often invisible, biases that the general public harbors toward disabled individuals, revealing a complex psychological landscape that influences social interactions, policy support, and inclusivity efforts.

It's so fucking infuriating

Talk to everyone you know about the need to vote! So much can be done by simple word of mouth in our own circles.
Imagine how great Ontario would be without Ford! Imagine having a premier that worked for us instead of his cronies!!
Imagine how great Ontario would be without Ford! Imagine having a premier that worked for us instead of his cronies!!
In the last Ontario election, more than 6 million eligible voters did not vote.
That’s 6 million voices missing from the conversation about our province’s future.
Advanced polling happens today and tomorrow.
Please make sure your voice is heard.

He said it in the campaign. “After I’m elected you won’t have to worry about elections again” to that effect.
I don't have confidence that the midterms will be free and fair elections.

The Guaranteed Basic Income is amazing to end poverty.
But we also need to address the enormous cost of disability. For that we need a national disability insurance plan, as suggested by us at Every Canadian Counts.

Agreed. There’s a big swing away from Conservatives in many ridings over the last few days. If this trend continues we can hope for a minority government. We need to vote strategically, even if that means pinching our nose for now. The Greens have the best platform with Basic income and ODSP
I voted in an advance poll today for NDP incumbent @waterloompp.bsky.social, who has been a very good MPP. I don't usually disclose who I vote for, but this Ontario election is an inflection point. We suffer under an incompetent, corrupt government that is actively destroying public institutions.
