Hyperscript! What a fun and kinda weird library. Feels good though, already refactored some pretty trivial UI but the syntax is indeed a lot more clear. Give it a try, especially if you like Alpine, htmx or even tailwind. Locality of behavior is a pretty powerful draw. Syntax reminds me of mocha etc

@htmx.org docs are great. Kept looking for ways to mess around on codepen, looked up events, I'll mess around with or mock response, then looked at debugging and then of course a little section on demos - mocking built right in special bundle! 👌 Read my mind! Wonderful tool

good talk. It's not people just too stupid to understand low level stuffs. They are just less accessible to newcomers with legacy tools and unfriendly docs.

In webdev context, @htmx.org and @tailwindcss.com are few actually making fundamentals accessible. There should be more like these.
High-level is the goal (but why?)

A whimsical yet functional security addition to my app based on a door keypad - mainly just to stop any drive-by access.

The keypad itself uses Hyperscript (hyperscript.org) because it makes client-side interactivity simple.

HTMX is not “anti-JS.” It’s “stop making the browser suffer.”

If you’ve ever watched a simple UI become a 400-file front-end, this one will hit.
