Woody Guthrie would be proud. Where's the anti-ICE play
list? Someone must have put one (or many) together
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

At the White House, there is infighting behind closed doors, ego clashes, backstabbing, and carefully orchestrated leaks. But the fact is that Stephen Miller is spreading false information about Alex Pretti, turning the regime into a political clown show.

A few months ago @jenna-m-norton.bsky.social and I talked to @mattsheffield.bsky.social about how science and democracy are linked.

That caught the attention of the anti-science crew.

If the president invokes the Insurrection Act, even more harm would descend on our communities.

Congress must rein in the Trump administration's already dangerous abuses in Minnesota.

President Donald Trump is threatening to invoke the act, which is a rarely used power that Congress intended only for extreme emergencies. We break down what this means for our civil liberties.

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

There is no need for extensive lists of "Jews", and the Jewish organizations they belong to. trump and his maga acolytes will let this info fall into the wrong hands, as if theirs aren't!
This will be used to hurt them.

To this point, I’ve resisted the urge to label Trump, his administration, or his supporters as neo-Nazis or neo-Fascists. However, it’s getting harder and harder to resist the urge and maintain my san...

with all due respect to @abepalmer.bsky.social , it's actually much worse than he says.
If you are submitting an NIH grant in February, you will be required to use SciENcv to prepare you biosketch.

IT IS MUCH WORSE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE.

Set aside *at least* 4 hours just to transfer an existing an biosketch into SciENcv.

The grants were on such topics as “reducing sudden infant death, rural access to health care, and mental health…”

Ending a $5 million research study when it is 70% complete does not save $1 million, it wastes $4 million.

When a project loses federal funding before completion, finding alternative resources is challenging. Most philanthropies do not have comparable resources.
