I wish that we’d have an honest infrastructure conversation which is the majority of people who drive a car are also watching a screen in their hand. We should build infrastructure based on this shared reality. We all know it.

I would like to take this opportunity to get on the record and apologize: I had complained about how every single thing at the grocery store now costs five dollars more than it used to, but I had not seen the latest data from DoorDash's State of Local Commerce report, which disproves that.

The Luka trade was the exogenous shock that rattled me from my stupor and made me realize almost everyone in power in any field right now is literally, in the clinical sense, addicted to both gambling and attention, and doesn't give a single shit about anyone else. I was clearly not alone here.

@profgalloway.com you gotta learn more about the grocery store issue. You say to give money to people that they can spend at Kroger. The issue is there is no Kroger in many areas. Zohran proposed 5 grocery stores. These would be in areas without other grocery options. What’s your issue with that?

Update: I’m grateful there’s lot of side streets that feel relatively safe in East. Would prefer to be on the corridor so I can get groceries and move more quickly but yolo. I still got to bike and that’s a lotto win every time
It would be *so* cool to be able to bike down Gallatin. Or main. Or really any north south connection in east.

Brushing things under the rug makes it seem like there’s something to hide. I like Dr Battle! Her results are incredible! But a multi million dollar settlement should be marked on the record.
