It is my game of the year
Trails in the Sky 2nd is now my most wanted game, surpassing Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
I have waited nearly 14 years to play and complete this game and it did not disappoint for one single second.

Approaching 20 hours in Trails in the Sky. Still have a little bit of game left that is not new to me before I hit the point I stopped at in the PC version, sometime in chapter 2. Really enjoying this game. December is packed with Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Octopath Traveler 0, and the Legends ZA DLC!

I miss the old days when Black Friday ads leaked 4-6 weeks ahead of time and you could adequately plan out what you were going to try to buy and from where.
Here we are less than two weeks from the day and it feels like not much is truly known.

Trails in the Sky FC remake is damn good. Finished up the prologue today and am enjoying it immensely.

Octopath Traveler 0 demo was pretty good. Maybe waiting for a sale on it though since the rest of 2025 is pretty packed in terms of video games for me.

40 hours into DQ2 and I have arrived at the end of the main game.
60+ for the 1+2 package and I have to say these are incredible.
Finishing the main game tonight and doing postgame tomorrow.
After that I will be 6/10 on my 40th anniversary Dragon Quest mainline replay extravaganza! Next up DQ7R!

40 hours into DQ2 and I have arrived at the end of the main game.
60+ for the 1+2 package and I have to say these are incredible.

December 10 release date for the Legends ZA DLC is sooner than I expected. Definitely going to need to train up a new squad for this DLC. Thinking all alphas and all EV trained. Need the best of the best!

- Finish Dragon Quest II remake (about 15 hours in, just got to sigil hunt)
- Finish FFT (very early in Chapter 1, did a few battles and stopped for Pokemon)
- Finish Trails in the Sky remake (still in prologue)
Should be able to do two of those for sure!

Dragon Quest 1+2 comes out next week. I've been having a ton of fun with Legends ZA even though it really was not on my radar and I was not interested until very recently. Still, I want to do what I can to finish the game and get close to 100% completion before DQ comes out next week!

The aesthetic that the GBA Fire Emblem games had is just unmatched. I loved the character work. I love the sprite work for classes. The battle animations are incredible. Even the music and sound is just divine. Fire Emblem 6-8 as a whole just phenomenal in this regard.

Being super depressed the last week plus I have found solace in mindlessly grinding in Dragon Quest VI DS. I could definitely beat the game easily but I am making my entire party into Heroes which requires a ton of grinding.
