We are all immigrants. Unless you came over on the Mayflower. I am an immigrant to Canada having grown up in the US. America was built by immigrants. Some people have forgotten that.

When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?
Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

Exactly right.

Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign.

Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.

Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.

Every possible angle.
They are wounded and flailing. Press the advantage.

So you’re saying people SHOULD be outraged at the Pretti killing. Got it, right-wing influencer.
Karoline Leavitt begins the Q&A by calling upon a Gateway Pundit propagandist who says of the Pretti killing, "where was that outrage when Ashli Babbitt was executed?"

Putin pioneered this. No opposition is legitimate. Regular, decent, “ordinary” people cannot possibly be against us because only we represent “the real people.”

Tell-tale sign of authoritarianism.

If ICE truly were targeting "the worst of the worst" and not, you know, deliberately brutalizing innocent families with children, they'd rush to correct all the stories like this one, apologizing and insisting it's not what they're really doing.

They don't because this is deliberate. This is it.
The parents of a 7 year old, all of whom are in the process of applying for asylum, took their daughter to the ER when her nose wouldn't stop bleeding. ICE picked them up near the hospital and they are now in detention in Texas, presumably awaiting deportation. www.oregonlive.com/portland/202...

All they had to say was, "There was a tragedy in Minnesota yesterday. Our prayers are with everyone involved. This is an emotional moment, and we ask all sides to remain peaceful while this incident is fully investigated." This is certainly mealymouthed, but it at least shows mature understanding.
JD Vance accuses the slain Renee Good of perpetrating "an attack on federal law enforcement, an attack on law and order, and attack on the American people"

A Republican elected official proudly declaring he has no problem with agents of the state shooting unarmed citizens in the face if they annoy the regime.

It is impossible to make democracy work with a party that not only tolerates people like this, but elevates them to positions of influence.
Rep. Randy Fine: "If you impede the actions of our law enforcement as they seek to repel foreign invaders from our country, you get what's coming to you. I do not feel bad for the woman that was involved."

JD Vance supports murdering American citizens. He's made that perfectly clear today. If he's willing to defend the murder of Renee Good, he would defend your murder, too.

JEFF LANDRY: I disagree. When has the United States engaged in imperialism? Never. Europe has engaged in imperialism. The reason the Danish have Greenland is because of imperialism.

People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

It’s dispiriting to hear several of my otherwise reasonable friends rationalizing trump’s Venezuelan adventure because Maduro is a
bad person. True, but this process for removing bad people tends to lead to bad outcomes.
