Americans may be in dire need of some civic lessons, but I know I sleep much better at night knowing we have a capable and qualified Cabinet in place. The same can not be said for the previous administration.
As someone who thinks America over-personifies its politics, as if POTUS does everything himself—enemies too: Hitler, Saddam, etc.—I'm glad to see this @jbouie.bsky.social column reminding everyone you vote for an administration and a vision for the country, not for one person and their personality.
