When Congress continues to let Hegseth get away with violating the law without even attempting consequences, he responds by violating the law more.
This isn't complicated.
What Hegseth/DOD is doing here is awful, but at some point part of the problem is Dems' lack of tangible response.

Wonder why DHS keeps violating the Constitution? The woman who was criminally charged with illegal reentry as a result of this raid had her case thrown out. But despite the court-determined constitutional violation that led to her arrest, DHS will still detain and deport her...
ICE agents illegally break into a woman's bathroom in a NY nutrition bar manufacturing plant. "Pull up your pants," says a male agent. The agents only had a warrant to review employer documents. They didn't have a warrant to search for, detain, or arrest anyone there.
