I'm excited about the new Ken Burns American Revolution documentary. Been thinking about Concord and how it was such an important pilgrimage for me as a lover of American Transcendentalism, and how it was also a pilgrimage in the American civil religion.

I've done it multiple times and it's so depressing.
A fun exercise is thinking about how far down the presidential line of succession you'd have to go before you find someone who isn't involved in committing or covering up the most heinous crimes known to man. You have to impeach everyone until you get there

I have acclimated to Colorado over the past 8 years such that my preferred temp range is now highs in the 50s and lows in the 20s and 30s.
I'm annoyed with the warmer fall we're having so far. 70 degrees on November 11th and no snow yet this year.
Pikes Peak was dry when I looked at it yesterday.

I asked Georgetown law prof David Super wtf is going on with this latest demand for states to claw back benefits already sent out.

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

My mom has been in the hospital and was so worried it would be hard for me to get there if I need to. (Last minute plane tix are prohibitively expensive and flights are getting canceled everywhere)
The hubby and I share a car and that makes it hard to drive, too, with work, but we have a plan.
