They're going to *throw out* one-of-a-kind NASA archives?!

Not even a year since the Inauguration & we're already at the 2nd-time-as-farce version of the burning of the Library of Alexandria.

It's that time once again to share the list of every game I've beaten this year. 🎮

2025 was an incredible year for games and I have a lot of thoughts on these but a couple stand out as my overall favorites... any guesses?

I love this painting.
There's such a hidden story there.
Is the painter being annoying?
Is the painting meant to be put above the snack drawer her already chunky husband keeps raiding?
Or is she judging us through the mists of time?

Update: Nikola Jokic suffered a hyperextended knee against the Miami Heat on Monday night, and is expected to miss at least one month.

I am a lady in waiting for one of the wives of King Henry VIII. Crap
I’m a historian who unbeknownst to me has been sent back in time so much that my brain is basically dissolving. Alternatively, I am the magnificent woman knight he’s obsessed with, in kind of a genderqueer way (The Everlasting, Alix Harrow)

In 1433, the Duke of Bedford wanted some goods from London for his Calais household. He asked for a customs waiver from the king, and he got it. And what did he need?

- 5 casks of porpoise
- 2 casks of eels
- 98 bows w/ bowstrings

'cause that's how you party.

In Santa Maria Novella, Florence, Masaccio's Trinity is under restoration. For a small fee, you can go up the scaffolding and have a close look (priceless!). The two details here are the presumed patrons whose identification remains uncertain. They sure gave us a good one.
