I had a wonderful time presenting at the 2025 HGSA Conference. My presentation, “Present Threats and Future Frontiers: Popular Science Fiction Franchises and American Militarism during the Cold War, 1961-1991,” looked at Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics.
