You don't fire the military lawyers (JAG) and the Chairman of Joint Chiefs if you aren't planning on pushing your "Commander in Chief" status to the limit.

Let's hope there are soldiers who will uphold their oath since our leaders aren't.

They learned something from their first term.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a grift is a good guy with principles.

So this time they're firing all the good guys with principles.

Wreaking havoc on the federal government is not about “efficiency” — it’s about power.

If Republicans cared about efficiency, they’d introduce legislation, and we could debate it in Congress. Instead, they’re creating maximum chaos to give power and handouts to billionaires.

As the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wisely said, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." Today and every day, I pledge to never silence my voice in the fight for what is right, and I will continue to march in the path he forged toward justice.

NYT has a great piece today on how badly the US has fallen behind on childhood immunization rates. This trend of course started before RFK Jr’s nomination per the article, but his rhetoric—which ignores decades of rigorous scientific study—has been very much helped fuel the decline. 🧵

The Hunter Biden story is a perfect encapsulation of what’s wrong with American media:

Is it a story? Sure.

But every newspaper in America devoting front page headlines to Hunter fucking Biden while Trump appoints a cabal of rapists, racists and con-men to positions of enormous power is MADNESS.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but "owning the libs" is NOT acceptable criteria for selecting members of a Presidential cabinet that will affect the lives of millions.

Picking family members, sex offenders, and Russian assets is proof that trump remains a threat to America.

Here are 10,000 brutal words on how Project 2025’s changes to FEMA would create a near-term future in which death tolls increase, more people become homeless & the future of entire communities is threatened.

It would be a bloodbath. We must stop them. #GreySky
