Access to e-bikes makes traveling the longer distances in rural communities by bike accessible to more people.

Its about being able to access your local shop, school or doctor - in areas where public transport is often poor

Not everyone lives in London!

What the fresh craziness is this on Culduthel Road? Why shouldn’t we just stay on the road and use the traffic lights? It’s not even a mandatory cycle lane, just a painted dashed line….

It *is* possible to combine bikes and buses 🚌 🚲 - and in rural communities it can extend the range of whats possible by active transport
My bike, on a bus! Good work, Border Buses. (This is the X95, Carlisle - Edinburgh, though I hopped of at Canonbie and rode to Hawick where I am now)

Coloured tarmac replacement help: in possibly my most niche question of all-time, does anyone know a solution for replacing small patches of coloured tarmac?

Issue is if you lay a red cycle / bus lane, you should use tarmac which has red all the way through it.... (1/3)

Last Saturday village had event with gazebo & stalls for community garden. Pleased our rental Family UA could easily carry & oversized items involved back to storage. Power use minimal & often 100% renewable in North Scotland. Have several used UAs - check web @highlandcyclists.bsky.social @edi.bike
