The Democrats’ Refusal to Break With a Broken System Cost Them Dearly
The party has followed its affection for Beltway institutions and their stodgy norms to its logical endpoint—getting locked out of power. It’s time for a rethink.

The idea that those on the left will ever agree enough to be an “echo chamber” is rather funny to me.

We couldn’t even agree whether to refer to Kamala Harris by her first or last name.

Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.

I really need us us as people to stop using race and gender in our marketing, its self destructive and usually not necessary. If your product is good, the masses will find you. If your product is great, the world will praise you, consume the product in droves, and stand by you.

Having watched politics unfold on social media for a decade now, I can tell you one of the failures of the left has been relying on a handful of influencers(for lack of a better term) with a million followers instead of building an army of 100k of us to to do the heavy lifting.

I'm hopeful that more Data Architects and Data Analysts move over to this platform, the ability to build off of like minded thinkers with SELECT, UPDATE, and INSERT INTO statements is refreshing.

I love that conservative voices can speak here and be civil, I would not like to live in a huge echo chamber. Everyone should have a chance to voice ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.

I also listen to many conservative AND left/liberal podcasts. One glaring difference between them is that conservative podcasts NEVER deign to give a good faith account of what their opponents think before rebutting. Left/liberal podcasts almost always give the conservative argument, then rebut.

NYC is on fire because Eric Adams took a hatchet to the Parks Department budget, firing 51 forestry specialists who remove the dead trees and invasive species most likely to ignite during dry periods.
Eric Adams's Budget Cuts Have Set Up New York City's Parks to Burn
By cutting the exact people meant to keep the city's parks free from fallen, dead trees and keep the forests healthy, the mayor has set up a tinderbox that's already igniting.

This is STILL the best post-mortem I've read. And a fascinating inside look. Bottom line: Harris lost the day Trump successfully distanced himself from an abortion ban. AND Trump had a billionaire-funded super propaganda machine that was especially effective on uneducated white men.
How Trump Won, and How Harris Lost
He made one essential bet: that his grievances would become the grievances of the MAGA movement, and then the G.O.P., and then more than half the country. It paid off.
