Absurdly impressive feat of engineering. Imagine bunking off during Year 6 IT and tabbing between The Impossible Quiz and *Super Monkey Ball*.
I ported Super Monkey Ball to a website.
You can access it in the replies.
(or just type what you see in the video, I'm not your boss.)

28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE is *absolutely* the cinematic equivalent of story DLC and I couldn't be happier about it. Rarely does a sequel opt to magnify peripheral aspects of its predecessor rather than simply pursue the same narrative further. Grisly and metal as hell.

Relished this moving reflection (har har) on one of my all-time favourites: www.designroom.site/mirrors-edge...
Mirror's Edge: An oral history
17 years on from its release, DICE's first-person parkour thriller is a cult classic. We spoke to nine people who worked on it about how the revelatory game came to be.

INDUSTRY S4E1: a crossfade between two almighty needle-drops, storylines with thrilling immediacy to real-world developments, an ensemble on top form with exciting new additions and a memorable deployment of 'sesquipedalian'. Secretly the best show airing continues to level up.

Finally getting round to Baby Steps, a game that I'd best describe as Tim Robinson doing one of those straight line expedition videos. Peak.

I'd put Eliza in my visual novel hall-of-fame, without question. It's hauntingly prescient and delicately empathetic. Posits massive existential questions without robbing the player of the joy in excavating their own answers.
Eliza is 50% off. It’s a fully-voiced visual novel about an AI therapy app. It was released in 2019, years before the idea of AI became what it is now. How much did it get right? What did it get wrong? Play it for yourself (play the whole thing) and decide.

Seeing people in the comments saying that To a T was unfun and essentially that he deserves this if he can't make a good game.

Gamers, I don't know how else to say this, artists are not supposed to be punished with financial ruin for making imperfect art. That's such a fucked up idea you have
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.

Rob Reiner: a generational spec-script filmmaker whose flexibility behind the camera conjured a string of totemic films, often synecdoches for their genres. Peculiar and tragic that their talents rarely equate to a spot on all-timer director lists. I hope that changes.
