One of the things that infuriates me the most about S2 of TLOU is that because they fucked it up so hard, S3 is basically doomed atp. The themes don’t work if the first half is told poorly. Abby and Ellie’s stories are parallels to each other. They have to be as strong as each other or it’s void.

I know it’s annoying to be like “WELL IN THE GAME.” But I mean…IN THE GAME, Tommy and Jesse both go to Seattle in order to avenge Joel because…you know. He was their friend/brother. Now they’re making it out to be “oh, Ellie was being stupid so we have to go get her.” #Tlou

They did the Nora torture scene exactly the way I was worried they would do it. No build up. It was like a switch went off when Ellie saw the hospital. Where was the slow burn that built up to Nora’s death?? Because the way it was done in the game, it made sense for that to be the outcome

It’s funny how avid defenders of TLOU show are like “if you don’t like the changes don’t watch it!!!” Like why is it that a book to movie adaptation can get criticized as much as anyone wants, but suddenly for a game to show adaptation, no one’s allowed to say anything??
