Ah, that makes sense. I guess I never really think about it. I mostly use Letterboxd to keep track of what I watched and want to watch.

I may start putting my mini reviews in Letterboxd if I remember. Probably less work than typing it out on SM

(I should be writing an actual review for a new show soon but I can’t post it until Feb)

I don’t really write Letter Letterboxed reviews. My only full reviews are on Tell Tale TV. But honestly, I don’t have too many thoughts about this one other than I will always love watching Tessa Thompson on any screen but found this just kinda boring tbh

So much respect for this woman. I could never have stayed this calm and determined in her place.
This woman is harder than goddamn steel dealing with these goddamn thugs. I want her to be my neighbor.

Tessa Thompson makes anything worth watching & I dug the lush atmosphere but I wanted this to be SO much better than it was #Hedda

Not just the encampments. People like Kristof admire the protests that happen ELSEWHERE. They critique those that happen where they live. This is a feature not a bug.
I’m old enough to remember the anti-genocide encampments y’all defamed.

There is no attitude for which legacy journalists are more often rewarded by their bosses than "Everybody needs to calm down." It is a preening announcement that you are the adult in the room, immune from emotion or overreaction or "hysteria." And it is the worst imaginable priority for this era. >

I can't say this loudly enough: THEY ARE TRYING TO NORMALIZE THE KILLING OF CIVILIANS FOR PARTICIPATING IN FIRST AMENDMENT PROTECTED PROTEST ACTIVITIES.
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."

I appreciate the craft and the Oscar Isaac of it all, but I don’t think I’m ever going to really love an adaptation of this novel #Frankenstein

Yup, the rest of the team will need to step up if they want to be competitive against some of the ranked teams coming up

Good to see Alex playing better at least defensively. Shay & Chloe continue to have important impacts even if it doesn’t show up in the stats but this was Nunu’s game.
Full stop.
Stanford 55 Wake Forest 43: Final. In the words of Brad Gilbert, this was an example of winning ugly for the Cardinal. But a win is a win. Nothing ugly about what Nunu Agara did tonight: 27 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and one block.

People have assumed this was over Tina Peters but it’s much more punishing Boebert (it’s her bill and in her district) for joining the Epstein discharge petition.

While I’m sure Polis cares, hitting a rural red corner of the state isn’t exactly punishing his political base.
NEW: House Republicans uphold President Trump’s veto of a clean drinking water project in Colorado. The bill passed Congress unanimously last year. Two-thirds were needed for an override. Trump has promised β€œharsh measures” against Colorado over false election rigging claims.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.
