The totality of the effort is quite broad. Workers are filing lawsuits, joining protests and sharing internal documents with media outlets. And they've resigned, sometimes in large numbers, to protest.

Advice for Democratic lawmakers:

Don't ever again put out a press release stating that you're "meeting tomorrow" in response to a five-alarm fire.

Cross that out.

Write this: "We are urgently working to address this crisis."

And then make that statement true with immediate action.
