This is the best we can get? I’m done with the Democratic Party. Looking towards democratic socialists to lead the way now. Done with the corporate elitists and stealth republicans in the old man party.

You constituents, myself in particular, will not support you if you follow the leader into giving up the hard line shutdown for empty republican promises. Vote no on ending the shutdown or expect people to vote yes on your primary opponents.

@repauchincloss.bsky.social As one of your constituents I am letting you know that caving in to republicans for a promise to consider negotiating sometime in the future is a no for me. We can stick food pantries and help out but our health insurance is out of control. Mine doubled this year.

Buried in the Big Beautiful Bill were changes to food assistance that demanded “any future change be cost-neutral. Translation: no more benefit increases, even if food prices skyrocket.”
The result was “institutionalized hunger.”

One thing we can all do in November is flood the social media platforms with pictures that show the cost of the republican Congress and the dictator cutting off food for the people so they can take more for themselves from the national trough. Flood the zone with pictures that show the hunger.

And for the record, government employees are not supposed to be conducting their business on non-government approved apps. The product is public work and is supposed to remain in the record. I’m pretty sure there is a law about this that any DA should know.
