Halfway through "Burning the Bones" by E. E. Markham. Post-apocalyptic adventure set in Australia. It's gory and exciting and puts a lot of gender stereotypes on its head. Loving it so far, and eager to read the rest of it.

Please, we need more queer characters for Fran.
Completely unacceptable imo. It blows my mind that Merz Verlag doesn't even know which AI / LLM models were used and that the originally designed mascot of SPIEL wasn't featured in any of the promotional materials.
So, Spiel 2023 in Essen, Germany - the world's biggest board game expo - used AI generated images for their promotional materials. Posters, Flyers, the giant expo banners, you name it.
