We better make good use of NOAA services while we can. As I understand it, it is on the cut list for Rump and his henchmen.

Seem reasonable to me that this thing would have been thoroughly leak checked with multiple redundancy BEFORE it ever left the pad. I wouldn't want to be in the first crew to fly this 7X loser.

Earlier this week I wrote that at this point, ensuring the finality of Trump’s conviction was more important than his sentence. Goven the bad hand SCOTUS unforgivably dealt, this court has done its best to stand for the rule of law. www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...
Opinion | The wisdom of Judge Merchan's Trump sentencing order
Judge Juan Merchan understands that jury verdicts matter. And in this case, the verdict matters more than the sentence.

Does anyone actually see this trend changing? I fear we will not act until it is too late.

OK, I'm a pessimist, but I don't have a lot of confidence that we will avoid 2. It's just too inconvenient for the majority of the people.
📺 "The 1.5°C limit is not something we can let go," says PIK scientist Kirsten Thonicke to DW News. "We need to make sure that we stay well below 2°C of global warming." Every fraction of a degree matters, "as it means we can still reduce impacts." 👇

I'm willing to bet that they (w/insurance) will be able to rebuild even bigger.

How many ended up in the US? If trump follows through on his tarriff crap how will that impact US sales. A year or so ago I recall seeing price of some EVs from China in the $10,000 range. This puts them in the price range for many of us who won't spend $40,000+.
Good morning with good news: China's EV sales skyrocketed 41.6% in 2024, compared to 2023. Wow!

Sales of BEV and PHEV were 10.97 million in 2024, up from 7.75 million in 2023.

Best of all, sales of EV beat ICE starting in July 2024 and for rest of 2024!
