My texts are FULL of gleeful messages from ‘friends’ exulting in Blue Jays whipping Yankees. Fair enough. Jays are an impressive, gritty, bats-to-balls team this year, stars for sure but also lunch bucket warriors and kids.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question and I am just ignoring the obvious, (it feels like I am) but it's only possible to launch an object into geostationary orbit along the equator, correct? It needs to be moving fast enough to "fall" at the same speed the earth curves away from it, right?
