Tomorrow will be officially OMD day in Los Angeles. They are being honored by the LA City Council and the band will greet their fans a little after 10am on the steps of City Hall, so if you are in the area come and down and enjoy the celebration.

So last night between Wang Chung and Howard Jones I was able to do my full 45 minute stand-up routine. The audience was amazing, and at one point I borrowed a wig from a girl in the front row. A lot of people took pics and videos, and it seemed to have been.a big hit. It was certainly fun!

After tonight's epic performances I got to hang with Howard Jones and his amazing band and crew that I was honored to tour with twice this year for two months, criss-crossing the country. The gang was back together. Looking forward to touring with such talented people again.

Sad news. David Ball, from Soft Cell, passed away last night. He'd been battling ill health, and Marc Almond told me that he had to drop out of the US Soft Cell tour because of it. They were instrumental in starting the British Invasion of the 80s.He will be terribly missed.

First day on the east coast. Heading through Maine and then into New Hampshire. Stopped at Gary's Tavern in Naples (not Italy!) for lunch. Fun bar and they even have an IPA for 80's fans - Totally Tubular. Fun times.

It's Indigenous People's Day, I learned so much when I was writing my first novel, SPQR, and working with a dear friend, Grey Eagle, to get as much correct as possible. Times have obviously changed so much, but our country's first inhabitants should be remembered and respected.

We have a day off in Vegas before our drive to Utah for the final show of the Dream Into Action tour, tomorrow in Utah. We headed out for a late breakfast, then the band has a full rehearsal for their solo headling show in New York on Wednesday at Sony Hall. So still work-but fun
