If blue states, invented a method to withhold transfers to the IRS, we'd be in a much better negotiating position. Moneys transferred could be ( for instance ;-) dependent on payments made and programs continued, records maintained and aid distributed.

Talked to someone today who said they regretted their vote. First, I was surprised because based on what I knew of them, I would not have thought the orange clown was their political flavor. I was Pikachu level surprised. They said, “I didn’t believe Project 2025 was real.” That’s everything.

USAID.gov is down. Why is this concerning? Trump has no legal authority to eliminate a congressionally funded independent agency. The work of USAID is vital, and if this can happen to them, it can happen to any of us.

Don’t think I’ll be flying any time soon. Not that I fly a lot, but I definitely won’t know. Those jobs are woefully understaffed and no one is checking on safety.
