My absolute favourite footage from any No Kings protest yesterday comes out of Atlanta - when a brass band showed up to drown out a Proud Boys confrontation by playing the Italian Antifa protest song, Bella Ciao.

What an awesome idea! I’ve just had 6 days off with a really bad cold, but I’m sure I would have recovered sooner if I’d been forced to go in and infect my colleagues. Especially the ones with young or medically fragile whānau.

On my recent annual review at work I was praised for always keeping a cool head, delegating tasks effectively and not micro-managing. The truth is it's because I'm lazy and I don't give a flying fuck about the work or anyone there.
