I know I don’t have a ton of Tegan and Sara friends over here but listening to Still Jealous this morning and it still hits so well. It was such a genius idea to do each other’s songs while they were stuck at home.

I know a lot of people are annoyed by the Christmas creep (especially with music) but I am so exited for two full months of the best candy season to have started.

What a wonderful way to end my first week back at work. A package from @texacilian.bsky.social! Thank you so much! I think some of the stickers need to go on my work water bottle. Also the duck started quacking at me as I was trying to unwrap it.

Listening to The Rose Field and remembering how well Michael Sheen can speak French and thinking about the effort he had to put in to make Aziraphale speak bad/broken French. (Side note: I don’t speak French at all but he sounds fairly fluent in the book to me)

I had a little branded stress polar bear sitting on the counter next to the fake plant (can’t have anything breakable on the counter) but I’m not going back to that company, good riddance etc. So I got this cute little pumpkin for a bit of seasonal flare.

I finally sat down and finished filling out my travel journal but I’m less than happy with this pen. This is what I mean when I say I’m right handed but write like a left handed person. If the pen is the least bit smudgy I end up with an ink mark on my hand.
