A 45-year-old man who works in construction and has lived in Oregon for more than 20 years was reportedly treated at OHSU after an altercation earlier this week with U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. Family says he is now behind held in a Tacoma detention facility.

Immigration officers have hit the city of Hillsboro hard in the past two weeks. To help students and parents feel safer, staff at an elementary school and nearby middle school, along with representatives from the local teachers’ union, have responded by standing watch in the neighborhood.

On Wednesday, Judge Katherine Weber reduced Farley’s bail to $100,000 at the request of his defense attorney, Stephen Houze. This means Farley will need to post 10% of that amount — $10,000 — to get out of Clackamas County Jail.

At an arraignment today, Foreman pleaded not guilty to nine charges related to searching and duplicating videos depicting sexual abuse of children or children posed in sexually explicit positions. He’s now scheduled to face a jury trial in May
