I accepted this a long time ago.
it’s not that i don’t care, it’s that i refuse to invest energy into it when ultimately, nothing is going to happen. no one’s going to be punished, no consequences, no accountability. this is what america is in 2026.

Rewatched The Informant last night & got depressed because the corrupt business tactics they were fighting to prosecute in the 90’s seem completely ordinary by today’s standards.
