You won’t see me coming,

We once looked to technology to save the world. Now the people who built it are designing escape pods instead.
I am just listening to a podcast talking about climate change. They are saying that the messaging on risk has changed from the effect of exceeding X degrees to the effect of exceeding it and fixing it quickly. Billions still die, but the privileged will live.
Just what we want to tell the tech Bros.

The GOP’s idea of healthcare reform is letting the poor die faster to save money.
The current GOP lie is that they’re going to replace Obamacare with something better.
Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.
They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

They screamed about freedom when asked to wear a mask to save lives during covid, but now wear one to hide their faces while taking them.
There is zero excuse for police, in a free society, to wear a mask.

We just assume you’re lonely up there with all that decency and functioning infrastructure.
I'm Canadian.
Our airports are open.
We feed our poor.
Everyone has healthcare.
We have allies.
We don't stab friends in the back.
Our leadership is sane and thoughtful.
We don't snatch people off the streets.
We have rule of law for everyone.
Why would anyone think we'd want to be a 51st state?

There’s a difference between cheering a death and cheering the end of the damage that person caused.
I don't think there was ever a case where the people of the United States cheered when the President died. There's always a first.

There is always money for tax breaks, weapons, and prison walls. When it comes to feeding people, the well somehow runs dry. That is not coincidence. It is design.

To be fair, time zones are hard when you live in your own reality.
Folks this is not a candid shot of the man at 11PM on a weekend, this is what he was doing while sitting in the middle of an internationally broadcast major press conference in the Oval Office

Such irony that the anti-mask crowd now works for ICE and they won’t go out in public without a mask.
The dog caught the car. The crazies are in charge. So insulting to the millions of us who served and upheld what this country was built on

Juneteenth matters — because it tells us freedom isn’t inherited, it is demanded. It is long overdue, but not yet complete.
