Love the mix of global and Irish at NORFest! Great presentation from my colleague Donna from @ucclibrary.bsky.social on UCC APCs. The bottom line: we pay at least €400k per year on top of OA agreements.

Can anyone explain why our institutional Open Access rates are consistently lower in Scopus than on OpenAlex? For 2024 it is 58% in Scopus to 68% in OpenAlex, and the difference is 7-11% in previous years. I have ideas but not sure they explain the situation fully.
