Can anyone explain why our institutional Open Access rates are consistently lower in Scopus than on OpenAlex? For 2024 it is 58% in Scopus to 68% in OpenAlex, and the difference is 7-11% in previous years. I have ideas but not sure they explain the situation fully.

Study looking at ChatGPT creating research bibliographies: "Both models hallucinated, but GPT-3.5 did so more than GPT-4. Out of 500 references GPT-4 claimed as real, 5.40% were hallucinations, compared to 36.00% for GPT-3.5". www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...

Thanks to Limerick University Library for the webinar "Academic Publishing, Open Research, and the Sustainable Development Goals". I learned that SDG papers that are NOT from Elsevier, Springer Nature or Wiley, are a lot more Open to researchers and the public.
