Oh, I don't think I had realised the sweeping power Seymour has transferred to himself *already*.

"The Treasury’s regulatory functions, including responsibility for New Zealand’s Regulatory Management System, have transferred to the Ministry for Regulation."

Not to say companies like Lego aren’t cynical, but they do genuinely engage with storytelling and the psychology of play.

Zuru on the other hand seems to have no real interest in children at all. Just a set of market segments to extract from. Hypernomalized gamified direct-to-landfill objects.

A point for #nzpol Treaty principles submissions- David Seymour implies nowhere else have Indigenous people’s rights been enshrined in law-he’s incorrect-he also argues critics need to show how ‘modern’ nations move forward with such arrangements-here are 20 examples e-tangata.co.nz/korero/un-sp....

Some of NZ First's candidates have been talking about chemtrails, 9/11 and vaccine nanobots, as the party courts the so-called “freedom movement”.

Isn't it... curious how we can't possibly take GST off fresh fruit and vegetables or manage a wealth tax without sending the administrative state howling into the gridlocked void, but a convoluted S&M-tinged surveillance state for beneficiaries?

NO wucking forries, mate! THAT we can do!

So many abusers will frame abuse in this way.

"I want you to learn and this (violence/harm/withholding access to resources) is how I am teaching you to be better"

I gotta tell you those who have lived in abusive circumstances DO NOT GET BETTER with this type of treatment. They get hurt.

Is there a better illustration of the stakes in this year's election than National proudly declaring they'll starve beneficiary kids to punish their parents, on the same day the Greens promise to simply give those parents the financial support they need? #nzpol
