On a visual design project today, we were discussing the balance between a UI that was too overwhelming vs one that was too subtle, so I got to finally whip out this bad boy in a professional setting

I’m learning that one weird thing about me is that I do not feel tired at the end of weeklong in-person work events, like offsites. Apparently this is unusual.
A long weekend with my two toddlers is way more exhausting. Compared to that, work offsites are like a spa week to me.

No matter how in shape I get, I don’t think I’ll ever understand talking to other people while running. I barely nod a meek hello to passersby. My lungs are busy not dying and they will not be multitasking, thank you.
