It was good. Laughed a lot. Has an extra layer of depth that elevates it into something interesting.

finished the Richler Read Through. A bit disappointing, I think, but I did find the end of Barney's Version quite affecting. There was maybe ultimately a mismatch between what he had the most insight on and what he wanted to write about. He spends his later books trying to reconcile this, especially
