I just find this kind of behaviour really upsetting and it reflects poorly on zine moderators who DO work hard with the right intentions.

Regardless, it shouldn't be only because of conflict that you offer transparency. It is standard zine practice to disclose the payment structure to your contributors.

I'm not surprised to see this "company" come up in a negative light. The whole concept preys on people who are scared after the P5 drama or are new to making zines.
This is an anti-fandom practice and spits in the face of contributors and mods who make projects possible.

So for shipping/finance they're using a "professional zine company," who apparently takes *15%-20%* of the total profit, "including shipping." I and someone else both don't remember this "company" being listed among the mods during apps. This is why your contributors can't get a PDF? What is this???
